About me

As a fully certified and registered homeopath in the UK, I hold recognised qualifications and uphold professional standards.

Homeopathy lacks legal regulation in the UK and in other countries such as the US, allowing anyone to call themselves a homeopath, practice homeopathy and prescribe homeopathic medicines without extensive study, formal qualifications,  experience and expertise, which typically requires years of training as previously explained  in this website.

I support voluntary regulation, which promotes patient safety by ensuring practitioners meet established standards of training and competence.

I am registered with The Faculty of Homeopathy.

My journey into homeopathy began with two profound personal experiences that transformed my understanding of health and healing.

As a university student training in dental surgery, I had suffered from recurring sore throats and tonsillitis since childhood. Skeptical at first, I followed a family friend’s advice and tried homeopathy. Those tiny white pills worked remarkably—my infections stopped returning, and my overall health improved dramatically.

A decade later, I faced irritable bowel syndrome and asthma. Conventional treatments offered limited relief, but classical homeopathic care resolved both conditions completely. I was able to stop nasal steroid sprays entirely, and the IBS improved vastly and with consistent homeopathic over a couple of years, it was totally healed.

These life-changing results inspired me to train as a classical homeopath. I qualified in 1999 with the London College of Classical Homeopathy (now with over 26 years of experience as Renata Hines AFHom, Registered Homeopath) and have practiced ever since.

I offer online and in-person appointments in Shefford, UK.

I have a wide scientific and biological/medical background: BSc (Hons), DDS.

I am insured with Balens and you can find my  registration details listed with the Faculty of Homeopathy.

During my homeopathic career, I have worked in the capacity of supervisor and in college clinic settings.

In addition, I have a thriving private practice in Shefford.

I provide homeopathic treatments for families, catering to everyone from children to seniors, including pets.

My own children were raised exclusively with homeopathic medicines and have never required conventional drugs—a testament to the gentle yet powerful nature of this approach.

Beyond my professional practice, I teach lay people to use homeopathy at home in minor acute illnesses and first aid situations.

I have been fortunate to learn from esteemed homeopaths such as Sheilagh Creasy who was my main mentor since I qualified until 2018. Since then, my continuous professional development has been with Dr Andre Saine.

Homeopathy is my passion. With empathy, dedication, and a commitment to finding individualised treatment, I aim to provide the best care for my clients.

Homeopathy is a holistic medical system that treats each person as unique, seeking to stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities. It works to restore balance on both physical and mental levels, not merely by suppressing symptoms but by addressing their root causes.

If you are seeking a holistic method to address your health concerns, I would be honoured to assist you on your path to a higher level of health.
